Author Julie A. D'Arcy

Currently out of print. It will be reprinted again by The Wild Rose Press 2001-2002.

Celtic Mythology, Dark Urban Fantasy, Time Travel, Lust and Romance!

The fate of two worlds rests in the hands of a banished Princess of Rastehm and a Knight of Paladia who is battling his own personal demons.

They must join forces with three friends they meet along their way to restore the Crystal Pyramid to Deharna, and battle the tormented mind of Iraj who will stop at nothing to gain his prize.

By Julie A. D’Arcy

When she was but a babe, Silverdawn was discovered to have magick within her and as a result she was banished to the future, the twenty-first century Australia. Silverdawn

knows nothing of her origins or the fact that in return for help from the Goddess in ridding the land of demons, King Mikkasah agreed to expel any trace of magick from Rastehm.

Anyone desiring a beautiful adult fairy tale will want to read Silverdawn, an urban fantasy novel that includes elements from the romance genre and sword and sorcery sub-genre. Julie A. D'Arcy has a flair for writing tales that is reminiscent of the bards of a bygone era. The audience will feel spellbound by this special fantasy.

5 out of 5 Review.

In Julie D’Arcy’s, Silverdawn ,

Julie D’Arcy deftly tells the saga of unrequited passion, treachery, grief beyond measure and the healing power of love and trust. Silverdawn cleverly incorporates the Celtic lore of the goddess with modern archeology. The Otherworld exists beyond this dawning and only those of the goddess can cross over.

Silverdawn engaged me from the beginning until the surprising conclusion. I eagerly await Julie A. D’Arcy’s next tale of Rastehm and the goddess.

A Magical, Romantic Adventure You Don't Want To Miss

By Cornelia Amiri and Maeve Alpin - RE-Published 2016

Format:Kindle Edition

and print

Julie Darcy is a talented, award-winning author. She began writing seriously in 1994, and has been published by ImaJinn Books, Mundania Press, Double Dragon Press, Eternal Press, Noble Romance Publishing LLC, Secret Cravings Publishing and Sweet Cravings Publishing. Her knowledge and artful skill of the writing craft shows in Silverdawn. Ms Darcy makes her world of a goddess, valiant knights, a beautiful princess and good and evil wizards come alive in this enchanting, romance adventure.

Julie Darcy's writing is smooth and polished. Silverdawn has a fairytale feel to it, giving the reader true escapism, with a good wizard, brave knights, and a princess who fight to save the world against an evil wizard. I highly recommend Silverdawn .

5.0 out of 5 stars Epic Romantic Fantasy

By Beverly O. - Published 2015

Format:Kindle Edition

Silverdawn is an epic romantic fantasy. A fantastical engrossing romance, Silverdawn brought to life the world described in her novel. I dove in and didn’t come up for air until I was done.

The romance weaved amongst the fantasy world was wonderful. Reluctantly Silverdawn acknowledged there was more to the world than she knew. Immersed in the past, working for the London Museum Silverdawn is fascinated by an ancient tome. Little did she realize that it was really about her home world, an alternate dimension, a world she visits in her dreams. Meeting Faren a Paladian Knight sends Silverdawn into shock from an attack and instant lust once she gets a good look at him.

Faren, Knight to her father, knows he is not good enough for the Princess Elanessë. Lucky for Faren she disagrees! Then she sets out to prove it to him.

The fantasy spun is just as good as the romance. To me, Silverdawn world, current and original invited me in. The romance is just the topping on this wonderful tale. Julie A. D’Arcy is a wonderful storyteller! Re-reading (oh yes I did!) even just sections of this, brought it all back in vivid detail, the mark of a truly great tale.

I was given a review copy by the author for an honest review.
